Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
Two models are included in this excellent range of instruments with magnifications of X100, 000 and X150,000. Each model is available with EDS elemental analyzers Desk top SEM’s have become powerful tools for material scientists and find applications throughout industry and academia. The Semscope offers a choice of magnification with excellent resolution. They are manufactured in Europe and supported by our team of specialists throughout the world Desk top SEM’s are inexpensive and cost just a little more than a high end optical microscope. The advantage is super high resolution and fantastic magnification. The 4000 series is a high end SEM designed to allow users access to an instrument with much higher performance but with a low cost price tag. The 4000 series offers a magnification of X600000 and a resolution of 3nm. It is around half the price of its nearest competitors and comes with a choice of EDS and many other options. The Model 4000 is supported around the world.
X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF)
MWDXRF is for applications demanding very high sensitivity of around 0.2ppm Elements can range from Carbon to Uranium. This unique range of instruments use double focusing diffracting monochromatic mirrors to focus X-rays onto a sample. The technology dramatically increases flux density at the sample, increases sensitivity and reduces background noise to insignificant levels.

EDXRF is for applications demanding very high sensitivity of all elements from Mg to U at around
LLD of 2ppm. There are 4 models to choose from i.e. 280, 9000, 8000, and RX400. Explorer-Hand Held EDXRF instruments are our extensive range of hand held EDXRF instruments that are perfect for mineralogy, environmental, geology. metallurgy, mining, precious metals, scrap sorting and all general applications including assaying.
We also market Skyray XRF products in several countries. This range includes EDXRF and WDXRF instruments and a full range of automated systems.
Optical Emission Spectrometers (OES)
Optical Emission Spectrometers have been designed to provide fast and accurate analysis of metals and nonmetals as required by any typical foundry or metal lab. Each model can analyze trace elements in metal alloys and in most matrixes for bases which include (Fe, Cu, Al, Ni, Co, Mg, Ti, Zn, Pb, Sn, Ag, etc ) and can analyze not metals including C, S, P, N, As, Etc at the low ppm level.
